I don't think this wallet was covered in any real leather type because of the price, but the functional design on the smaller form factor than a traditional tri-fold is impressive! I give all of the stars!

I am fully satisfied with the quality, visual and use of this wallet. It was a nice gift which just cannot be a bad idea if the person likes simple and elegant things.
Sometimes it is a bit hard to acces the cards in it, but if u use it for longer time you can get used to it and it become easier.
